John L. Cox

John Lee Cox, age 66, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at 7:39 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024. John was born on June 6, 1957, to James Frank Cox, Jr., and Claretta (Easterday) Cox. John was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his cousin, Roger “Buzz” Spencer, and dear friends that were like his family, Jim Langley, Josh Bell, Chuck Campbell, and Dale Forgey.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Doris Joan Cox; paternal grandparents, James Frank Cox, Sr, and Lucy Josephine (Brown) Cox; cousins, Sandra Maughmer and Michael Spencer.

In respect for John’s wishes, there will be no public services.

Burial will be in Paint Creek Cemetery at a later date.
