John M. Nale

John M. Nale, age 62, Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in Memorial Hospital.

Born in Logansport on September 26, 1960, he was the son of Russell and Iona (Hershberger) Nale.

On May 4, 2002, in Logansport, he was married to Patricia L. Holt, who survives.

John had been employed in refrigeration maintenance for 15 years at Lineage Logistics (formerly Hanson Cold Storage).

He enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, hunting for deer and squirrel, and fishing, as well as going to the shooting range at the Izaak Walton League with his friends. He was a member of ABATE and enjoyed their fundraiser rides.  He was especially fond of spending time with his family and friends.

Also surviving are son, Michael (Vonda) Nale, Winamac; daughter, Assia Whistler, Logansport; sister, Rita (Bill) Horton, Jeffersonville; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Aubrey Whistler.

The visitation will be on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Kroeger Funeral Home, with the service at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the 15th, also at the funeral home. Rev. Ken Smith will officiate the service.

Interment will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
