Joseph T. Dunn

Joseph T. Dunn, age 83, Indianapolis, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, in Indianapolis.

Born September 13, 1936, in Logansport, he was the son of Aloysius, Sr. and Viola Mudd Dunn.

On September 3, 1988, he was married to Deborah Thoroughgood, who survives.

Joe was a self-employed landlord.

A 1954 graduate of Logansport High School, he served our country in the United States Air Force.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Ricky (Colleen) Thoroughgood, Las Vegas, Rod (Michele) Thoroughgood; daughter, Sheca (Angel “Pete”) Torres, Indianapolis; sister, Julia Humphries, Peru; grandchildren, Nia, Salea, Miera, Aneesah, Deianeira, Ricky, Jr., Aubrie, Amiya, Aiyana and Amarie.

Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Hattie Dunn and Mattie Jean Dunn; number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Riley, brothers, Bernard Dunn, John Dunn, Jim Dunn, Aloysius Dunn, Jr., sisters, Kathleen Dunn, Mary Dunn and Patricia Smith;

Funeral Service and Celebration of Joe’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park with military honors.
