Louise Ann (Hawkins) Wade

Louise Ann Wade, age 86, Logansport, passed away peacefully at 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, in her long-time residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise was born in Logansport on January 20, 1935, the daughter of Robert B. and Scevina Brenner Hawkins.

William M. Wade became her husband on November 3, 1961, in a ceremony performed in Logansport.

Louise enjoyed BINGO, playing the slots, playing cards, especially poker, and Yahtzee, with family and friends. She loved Elvis Presley music and especially her dogs. But high on her list of enjoyments was traveling to visit her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, William “Mike” (Rebecca) Wade; daughter, Tonia Wade, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Stasha, (Cody) Barlow, Chris (Misty) Wade, Ambyr Wade (fiancé, Ryan Brooks), Nicole (Larry) Kerrigan; nine great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren. Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Diane Sherman.

A son, Robert Steven Sherman, preceded her in death in 2008.

Friends may greet the family and pay their respects from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service is scheduled for 12 noon on Wednesday, May 19th, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Rev. Carol Weaver officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
