Marie (Satterfield) Wilfong

Agnes Marie Wilfong, age 96, Logansport, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born November 4, 1928, in Marengo, Crawford County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edmund Satterfield and Rosa White Satterfield.

Marie married Clyde “Bud” Wilfong on November 25, 1950, in Logansport. He preceded her in death November 27, 1974.

For twenty-three years Marie had been a cashier at Hook’s Drugs, Revco and CVS.

She attended the former Riverview Wesleyan Church. Marie enjoyed country music but most especially, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Donald Wilfong, Logansport; grandchildren, Shea (Brad) Barnes, Aries (Rob) Lowden, Michael (Ashley) Wilfong, Jesse (Kari) Michaels; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Cathy Wilfong and Katrina “Teenie” McFall; daughter-in-law, Gerri Wilfong; grandson, Shane Michaels, and granddaughter, Megan Jeroski.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22nd, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the funeral service.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
