Mary Cappoli, age 106, Logansport, passed away at 9:35 a.m. Thursday, March 7th, at WoodBridge Health Campus, where she had been a resident for only two months.
Born November 19, 1917, in Logansport, Mary was the oldest of eight children, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Rischitelli Cappoli.
Mary was a faithful member of All Saints Catholic Church (the former St. Vincent de Paul Church) and a graduate of St. Vincent’s School.
She had been employed for many years at RBM Manufacturing.
Mary is survived by her only remaining sibling, Clara Cappoli, with whom she had resided her entire life. Also surviving are nieces and nephews in three successive generations.
Preceding Mary in death were two brothers and four sisters.
The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16th, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Adam Mauman officiating. The family will meet prior to Mass for a private visitation.
Burial will follow Mass in the Mount Calvary section of Mount Hope Cemetery. This interment service will be private, for the family only.
