Mary E. Hartsch, age 100, Logansport, passed away peacefully at 11:35 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at WoodBridge Health Campus.
Born July 20, 1924, in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of Daniel and Kathleen Montgomery Hilbert.
On July 25, 1945, in Miami, Florida, she was married to Conrad Hartsch, who preceded her in death.
Mary had many varied interests, including travel, reading, classical music and the theater. She was in several Logansport Civic Players’ productions.
Mary was a long-time member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Conrad J. (Sharon) Hartsch, Logansport, Charles M. (Kathy Lynn) Hartsch, Galveston; daughter, Kathleen A. Hartsch, Logansport; six grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Jane Sutton, Logansport; three nieces, and two nephews.
As she requested, Mary desired that her service and burial be private, for family only.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, Cass County Humane Society, or the Cass County Public Library.
