Mary L. (Holcomb) Siddall

Mary L. Siddall, age 92, Logansport, passed away on January 19, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne. 

Mary was born August 30, 1932, in Royal Center, and she was the daughter of Hubert and Lacelia Kerns Holcomb. On November 22, 1950, she was married to the love of her life, R. Dale Siddall, who preceded her in death on September 19, 1983. 

Places she worked included the Logan Double Dip and many years at Logansport Metal Culvert and KLK Manufacturing.

Mary loved to watch her children and grandchildren play many different sports. Her family pool was enjoyed by the family and many friends. She hosted everyone as if they were her own. She also enjoyed watching IU basketball. 

Surviving are a son, Rick (Marybeth) Siddall, and a daughter, Beth (Frank) Slusser, all of Logansport. 

Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren, Drew Siddall, Megan (Sam) Warren, Dustin (Kathy) Slusser, and Ann (Brian) Iles. Her great grandchildren always brought a smile to her face. They are Nathan Iles, Adam Iles, Colin Iles, Raylynn Slusser, Reislee Slusser, and Madalynn Slusser. 

Her sisters, Alice Graham and Diana Purcell, preceded her in death. 

The family wishes to thank Miller’s Merry Manor staff for all the love, care, and compassion given to Mary over the past eight years. Also, thank you to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne for their care and compassion during her final hours.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1st, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, following visitation, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
