Max Eugene Bell, Sr., age 69, Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, peacefully in his home.
Born in Logansport on March 30, 1955, Max was the son of Robert and Jane (Beck) Bell.
He married Lou Ann Titus (Logan) on October 25, 2009.
A 1973 graduate of Lewis Cass High School, Max drove a semi across the US for many years, until he bought a farm in 2010. Growing up he showed cattle in 4-H.
Max was a member of Center Community of Faith and served as Trustee and was Treasurer for Trustees since 2015. He traveled on several mission trips to Henderson Settlement in Frakes, Kentucky.
Surviving are wife, Lou Ann Bell, Lafayette; son, Max Bell Jr., and Jeremy Bell, Mississippi; stepsons, Steve Gardner, Mississippi, Jeremy Titus, Florida, and stepdaughter, Lyndsay Fisher, Kokomo; brother, Ira Bell, Peru; 3 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Max was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Jack.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25th, at Center Community of Faith Church (the former Center UB Church), from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral following visitation at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Brent Cripe will officiate.
Interment will be in Center Cemetery.
