Mildred Ann Ingle Obituary

 

Mildred Ann Ingle, 89, Logansport, passed away at 10:53 a.m. onFriday, June 17, 2022, at WoodBridge Health Campus.

Born August 4, 1932, in Noble Township, Cass County, she was the daughter of Lou and Connie Burtis Jackson.

A graduate of Royal Center High School, Mildred attended business college in Chicago. In Chicago, she was employed at a local insurance company. In Logansport, she was the switchboard operator for many years at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was then a food service supervisor at Grissom Air Force Base.

Mildred was married to Thomas D. Ingle on April 4, 1953. He preceded her in death August 13, 2004.

Surviving are her children, Connie Ingle (fiancé, Terry Townsend), Peru, James (Virginia “Ginny”) Ingle, Angola, Indiana, Pamela (Bobby) Pugh, Metea; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; extended family, Norma Walker and Sharon Baxley.

Mildred was preceded in death by a son, four great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

The visitation and funeral service will be at Shiloh Christian Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st. The funeral service and celebration of Mildred’s life is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, following visitation. Pastor Mark Marshall will officiate.

Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Shiloh Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
