Nancy (Johnson) Lindsley

Nancy (Johnson) Lindsley, age 86, Logansport, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord at 3:00 a.m. on February 12, 2022, in Ocala Florida, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 9, 1936, in East Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Roger and Ruth (Bigelow) Johnson.

On July 4, 1963, she married Edward Lindsley, who survives.

Nancy was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport, Indiana.

She enjoyed wonderful times with her family.  She also enjoyed traveling and was blessed to visit all 50 states and 19 other countries during her travels.  She was also an avid golfer and bridge player and was able to play golf in 31 different states and 5 countries.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Ed; children, Mark ( Lattia) Lindsley; Christi (John) Barrett,  Lance (Mary) Lindsley, and Scott (Annie) Lindsley.  She also leaves behind twelve precious grandchildren, Megan, Christine, Matt, John, Shannon, Ryan, Maggie, Caroline, Peyton, Brianne, Ryne, and Logan; and two precious great-grandchildren, Raylin and Henry “Hank”.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandra Creitz.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Nancy’s Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, also at the funeral home. Fr. Kyle Neterer will officiate.

Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery Columbarium.
