Natalia (Del Valle) Balcallo

Natalia Balcallo, age 64, Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, in Memorial Hospital.

Born in Matamoros Tamaluipas, Mexico on July 19, 1955, she was the daughter of Ismael Del Valle and Maria Carrizales Del Valle. Her mother survives.

On September 7, 1975, in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico, she was married to Jose S. Balcallo, who survives.

A homemaker, Natalia loved cooking and owned and operated the Tower Park Drive-In.  She also enjoyed cooking for the priests.  Her Catholic faith kept her strong.  She taught baptism class and enjoyed Bible study group.

Natalia so loved her entire family, but especially her grandchildren.  She loved fresh roses, dancing and shopping for make-up and bling.

Also surviving are her sons, Jose L. (Evelin) Balcallo, Leonardo (Diana) Balcallo, Jesus (Sylvia) Balcallo; daughters, Araceli Balcallo, Angelica M. (Israel) Padilla; brothers, Armando (Generosa) Del Valle, Roberto (Maria Ortiz) Del Valle; sisters, Bertha A. (Enrique) Montes, Isabel (Mauricio) Garza, Nelly (Antonio) Dana, Hortencia (Pedro) Lerma, Yesenia (Ernesto) Reyes; thirteen grandchildren, Jose Balcallo, Andres Balcallo, Natalia Balcallo, Andrea Balcallo, Leonardo Balcallo, Valeria Balcallo, Isabel Padilla, Sarai Padilla, Jazmin Padilla, Lauren Saldivar, Ezekiel Balcallo, Isaac Balcallo, Lylah Balcallo; many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

A brother, Ismael Del Valle, preceded in death.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21st, at Kroeger Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Gustavo Lopez and Fr. Jeff Martin officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to Mass.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
