On August 28, 2022, at approximately 9:46 a.m., Patricia Lou (Riewoldt) Arone passed away at Logansport Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
Pat, as she was lovingly known, graduated from Logansport High School in 1955.
She married Joseph John Arone in 1956, who preceded her in death in 2000.
Pat owned Curb Burger, Arone Ford Lincoln Mercury, and Arone Hardware.
Throughout the years she was active with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time at the Logansport Shrine Club. Pat spent much of the winter months vacationing at her home in Bradenton, Florida.
A 1955 graduate of Logansport High School, Pat was a member of the Order of Eastern Star (Royal Center Chapter #375) and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary (Post 3790). She was an enthusiastic Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed horse racing events.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Jerilyn (Arone) Smith of Logansport; companion, Gordon Wilson; grandsons, Jaime Smith (Nikki) of Idaho; Ryan Miller (Tabitha) of Macy; Rhett Miller of North Carolina; granddaughters, Paige Johansen-Schrum (Patrick) and Elizabeth Mills (Mason) of Logansport; and great-grandchildren, Jordan Johansen, Joel Johansen, Wyatt Miller, Jennalee Schrum, Sawyer Lantz, Emmettt Miller, Isaiah Lantz, and Noah Mills.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine McClure Shaffer and Richard Riewoldt; her husband, Joseph John Arone; son, Joel Page Arone; grandson, Nicholas Joseph Arone; and family by affection, James “Jimmy” Michael and Deborah “Debi” Miller.
Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 2nd, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., on Friday, also at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
