Rhylie Elexis Hite

Rhylie Elexis Hite, 20 months, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, following a family tragedy in her residence..

Born in Logansport on March 8, 2017, she was the daughter of Daniel Owen Hite and Brandi Lynn Vail, both of whom are deceased.

Rhylie was a shy little girl until she got to know you; she was easy going and loving, and smart for her age. She loved her older sister and was motherly to her younger brother. She loved giving kisses and saying 'love you the most'. Rhylie loved to swim and go to the park; she was a daredevil. She loved 'Sponge Bob Square Pants' and 'Marley the Turtle'. She was truly a mommy's girl.

Survivors include maternal grandmother, Sheila Huddleston and maternal grandfather, Paul M. Vail, both of Logansport; sister, Mikaela Sanchez, Logansport; paternal grandmother, Debra (Carl) Auten, Walton; paternal grandfather, Curtis (Lisa) Hite, Flora, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Deceased family members also include brother, Marshall Owen Hite; sister, Swayzee Allianna Hite.

 The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018, at LifeGate Church in Logansport, Indiana, with Rev. Ken Smith and Rev. Bruce Russell officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at LifeGate Church in Logansport. Visitation will also be from 9:30 to 11:00 on Thursday, prior to the service.

Those wishing to assist this family as they face the future may make a donation payable to Sheila Huddleston through the funeral home. Contributions will not go toward funeral home expenses - the services have been donated by the funeral home. Envelopes will be available at the church.
