Richard P. "Rich" Jones, II Obituary

Richard P. “Rich” Jones, II, age 67, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023, at his residence.

Born July 17, 1956, in Logansport, he was the son of Richard P. and Clara M. Vitello Jones. His father preceded him in death.

A 1974 graduate of Logansport High School, Rich enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews sporting events and just being a good and thoughtful uncle. He also enjoyed browsing and shopping at any and all thrift stores.

Surviving is his mother, Clara; sister, Susan Hicks (husband, Melvis Hicks, Jr.), Galveston. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Jason and Deanna Reppert, Justin Hicks (Bonita), Emily and Zeke Alvarez and Jacqlyn and Dakota Sprague; great nieces and great nephews, Christopher Reppert, Xzavier Jones-Alvarez, Emma Sprague and Ezra Alvarez.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Brian Jones and Danny Reppert.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 4th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Monday at Kroeger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Carousel. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
