Robert Leroy Sterner, 85, Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in his residence.
Born on June 5, 1937, in Royal Center, he was the son of George and Eunice (Brunton) Sterner.
On May 30, 1958, in Wabash, he was married to Lois Scotten, who survives.
Bob attended Manchester College and was retired from ESSROC, where he was employed in the lab as a chemical analyst for 37 years.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching old Westerns and being a grandfather.
A member of Life Gate Church, Bob was very active with his church family.
Also surviving are children, Cathy (Kevin) Bullard and Ed (Bridgette) Sterner, all of Logansport; five grandchildren, Nathan, Sydney and Ryan Bullard, Misty (Arquan) Campbell and Michael Sterner; and five great grandchildren. Two sisters also survive, Anne DeFord and Geneva (Ken) Edmonson, all of Washington State.
Preceding Bob in death were his parents; and sister, Rowena (Burris) Hiers.
The visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, with Andy Weil officiating, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
