Ronald K. Binney

Ronald K. “Ron” Binney, age 79, Logansport, passed away at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, October 31st, in Indianapolis.

Born Thursday, May 3, 1945, in Logansport, he was the son of Arthur and Harriett Wells Binney.

On July 6, 1985 he married Elizabeth I. “Libby” Zehner Binney, who survives.

Ron retired from Exide Corporation and later retired from the Logansport School Corporation. He had also been employed part-time as custodian at the Cass County Family Y.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Christine (Todd) Flynn and Tracy Eakins, as well as Libby’s children, James Robert “Bobby” Zehner, Fonda Novak, and Rodney Allen Moss. Also surviving are grandchildren, Amber Cardiel, Jacob Simms, Brooke Costello, Kayla Van Benten, Mason Eakins, Nikole (Andy) Emmons, Spirit Zehner, Teena Zehner; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

The family is hosting a Celebration of Life from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3rd, at 2778 N CR 450 E, Logansport, 

Burial at a later date will be in Bethel Cemetery, Cass County.
