Scott A. "Scottie" Jones

Scott” Scottie” A. Jones, Jr., age 43, formerly of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in his group home in Upland, Indiana.

Born September 19, 1980, in Logansport, he was the son of Tracey (Loe) Jones, Peru; and Scott A. Jones, Sr., (Paula), Logansport, all surviving. Also surviving is a sister, Jacqueline L. “Jackie” Jones, Alexandria, Indiana; Step brother Aaron Stephenson, Jasper, In, step sister Lauren (Rob) Williams, Logansport. Nieces and nephews: Ashton Hackman, Cooper Hackman, Mayla Williams, Dash Sowinski, Ava Williams, Claire Stephenson, Jude Williams and Beau Sowinski.

Scottie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Beulah (Mullin) Loe; and paternal grandparents, Barry and Grayce (Hoegerl) Jones.

Scottie was a loving child who was disabled from birth. He graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School. He enjoyed the lake, with swimming and boating; also enjoying bowling, shooting baskets, many kinds of music and roller coaster rides. 

A private, family gathering will take place at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home, with burial following at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
