Obituary
Shannon Marie Torres, age 42, Logansport, passed away peacefully at 2:52 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born November 22, 1978, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Victor and Robin Zartman Spencer. Her mother survives, residing in Twelve Mile and her father survives, residing in Logansport.
Shannon was married February 18, 2005 to Henry Torres, who survives.
She was a 1996 graduate of Logansport High School.
Shannon loved children and loved to travel, hoping to visit all fifty States. She was an extreme collector of coupons and active “couponer”.
She will be greatly missed by her dog, Marley.
Also surviving are a brother, Adam Spencer; maternal grandmother, Barbara Zartman; mother-in-law, Margarita Reyes; step-son, Anthony Torres (girlfriend, Porsha Hamm); step-daughter, Riana Torres; sister-in-law, Grethel Rojas (boyfriend, Jordan Gibbs); adopted grandchild, SaVani, who she called “Tootsie Roll”. Shannon was anxiously awaiting the arrival of a grandson in November.
Visitation will be Monday, August 30, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Kroeger Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, following the visitation.
Interment will be private at a later date.
