Sharon L. Carlson Obituary

Sharon L. Carlson, age 86, Logansport, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Chase Center.

Born October 14, 1935, in Elkhart, she was the daughter of Harold W. and Veronica E. Hein Dietz.

On September 21, 1974, in South Bend, she married Patrick J. Carlson, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2022.

Sharon had been the breakfast hostess at the Fairfield Inn in Mishawaka.

Surviving are a daughter, Bambi Lee Retz; son, Richard Michael “Mike” Woodruff; brother, William H. “Bill” Dietz, all of Florida; granddaughter, Britni Autumn Harper; grandson, Brandon Lee Reed; great granddaughters, Zoei Lee Harper and Payton Michelle Harper.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Father Adam Mauman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.

Full interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Kroeger Funeral Home is undertaking the arrangements.
