Sylvia I. (Wirick) Cofield

Sylvia I. Cofield, age 79, Logansport, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in Logansport.

Born March 22, 1942, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Dewey Wilson and Ruth Marie Montgomery Wirick.

Sylvia had been employed at SUS in Logansport.

Surviving are a sister, Ruth Harpham, Alexandria; brothers, Harvey Owen Wirick, Hammond, Ind., and Ron (Donna) Wirick, Durant, Oklahoma.

Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Bill & Lori Wirick, John & Nancy Wirick, Ron & Janet Wirick, Chris & Angie Wirick, Tabitha & Rodney McCombs, Rodney Wirick, Lee & Kierstan Wirick, Jason & Sherry McKinney-Wirick, Stormmy & Gary Wirick, Danny Davis, Jr., and Angela Davis Dimas; several great nieces and great nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by a son, Jerremy B. Cofield and two brothers, Dewey Eugene Wirick and Donald M. Wirick.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The visitation will conclude with a brief service of prayer and remembrance.

Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
