Theresa L. Ingram, age 76, Burnettsville, passed away at 4:41 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in her residence.
Born November 24, 1946, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Emory and Margaret Webster Wilson.
On July 1, 1967, at St. Joseph’s Church in Logansport, she married the love of her life, William Ingram, who survives.
Theresa had been employed at K-Mart and Kroger in Monticello. She had also been employed at JoAnn Fabrics in Logansport.
A member of All Saints Catholic Church, Theresa was a 1964 graduate of Logansport High School. She enjoyed cake decorating, cooking, baking, traveling, cross-stitching, watching movies at home with Bill, solving word-search puzzles and going out to eat with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Theresa was a wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She did her best to take care of those around her. She was blessed to have so many special people in her life—her heart was so big she loved each and every one of them. There are many ways to describe her: loving, kind, open-hearted, caring, supportive, gentle, incredibly loyal, faithful…and occasionally stubborn.
Her smile and her giggle when she was tickled by something and her huge hugs will be missed by all who loved her.
Her faith in God carried her through the ups and downs in life. One prayer that was special to her is: Lord, guide us all the day long, ‘til the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed and our work for today is done. Then, in Your mercy, Lord, grant us safe lodging and a peaceful sleep ‘til a new day comes. Amen.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Colleen (Tim) Colford, Neenah, Wisc; son, Eric Ingram, Clarks Hill, Indiana; sister, Marilyn Thompson, Palm Bay Florida; grandchildren, Zachary Colford, C. J. Ingram (fiancé, Zoe Pellegrino), Emmi (Hassan) Khan, Jace Ingram, Veronica Colford and Ethan Ingram; many, many nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were her parents and sister, Charlene Todd.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Fr. Gustavo Lopez officiating.
