Timothy Allen Huff, 30, Logansport passed away Saturday September 2, 2023, unexpectedly at his home in Logansport. Born May 8, 1993, he was the son of John A. Huff and Tammy L. Jones.
Tim was a 2011 graduate of Caston Senior High School where he was talented athlete. He had a passion for baseball and his senior year he was selected by his coaches to the All-Loganland Baseball Team. He also played and excelled in football and basketball. You could catch Tim “hoopin’ it up’” at a local park on a nice day or playing a pick-up game at the YMCA.
He not only loved playing sports, but he was also a loyal sports fan. Tim loved IU basketball and Cubs baseball. He adored both his Grandpa Huff and Grandpa Jones and over the years spent many Sundays watching “the race” with either one of them.
Family was extremely important to Tim. Not only was he family-oriented but he was one of the mostkind-hearted and genuine people you would ever meet. He has a soft-spot for his cats and he loved littlekids — many of whom were drawn to his sweet and easy disposition. He would always bring smile to
everyone’s face with his subtle sense of humor. Everyone who knew Tim knew he didn’t have a meanbone in his body. He accepted you for who you were.
Surviving are his parents, paternal grandparents John and Janet Huff; aunt and uncles, Jennifer Pritt (Fiance, Ray Stephany), Tina (Terry) Lawson, Jodie Huff (Kevin Lippe), Jaime (Shane) Hosler, Jae (Brad)Miller; cousins, Cullen Smith, Paxton Miller, Colton Miller, Morgan Miller, Rachel Albers (Fiance, JohnPincumbe), Kelsey Moss, Corey (Ali) Moss, Nick (Kayla) Pritt, Joe Cattin, Elaine (Ashton) Klein.
Timothy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparent, Roger (Elaine) Jones.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday. September 10 at Kroeger Funeral Home. In honor of Tim feel free to dress casually or wear your favorite sports apparel.
