Walter "Bud" Hollering

Walter N. "Bud" Hollering, age 92, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in Chase Center.

Born October 28, 1932, in Logansport, he was the son of Walter and Gladys Diebolt Hollering.

Bud was a graduate of Logansport High School, and later served in the United States Navy. He had been employed at the H. W. Gossard Company in Logansport, and Dukes Hospital in Peru.

He enjoyed fishing and was a “huge” Indiana University basket ball fan.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife, SuEllen Barnett Hollering.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Lisa Hollering; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Steve Wilson; and son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Brandy Hollering.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Eric and Christina Hollering, Shaun and Holli Hollering, Drew and Alex Hollering, Robert and Kristen Wilson; great grandchildren, Sophie, Escher, Jacksyn, Karoline, and Lyla.

Surviving stepchildren, Jackson (Erin) Barnett, Michael (Lori) Barnett, and Kris (Tina) Barnett; step grandchildren, Steven, Nicole, Daryn, Dakota, Kara, Kody, JD, and Brantlyn.

A Celebration of Bud Hollering’s life will be Tuesday, May 6th, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the chapel at Moun t Hope Cemetery.
