William "Bill" Chanley

William “Bill” Chanley, age 82, Logansport, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Chase Center.

Born November 2, 1937, in Logansport, he was the son of Daniel and Mary Childers Chanley.

On September 14, 1985, he was married to Vera L. Eiler, who preceded him in death on April 22, 2011.

Bill retired from the Logansport State Hospital as a bus driver.

Surviving are a daughter, Patty (Ron) Raderstorf, Walton;  a son, Joe (Nancy) Chanley, Logansport; sister, Rosemary Shidler, Anoka Acres; grandchildren, Doug Chanley, Cathy (Bob) Conrad, Amanda Raderstorf, Beth Raderstorf, all of Logansport, Jon Raderstorf, Walton, Justin Chanley, Joshua Chanley, Samantha (Jacob) Mettler, all of Logansport; great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Novak, and sister, Martha Knowles.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday at the church. 

The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24th, at Hickory Grove Church, 9714 N 700 W Delphi, IN 46923, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

Interment will be in Davis Cemetery.
