Zella Mae (Thompson) Britton

Zella Mae Britton, age 84, Logansport, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born August 18, 1935, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of Virgil L. and Leland M. Weisenburger Thompson.

In 1962 she married James M. Britton, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2010.

A homemaker, in earlier years Zella worked for Quick Film Service.

She was a 1953 graduate of Washington Township High School. She enjoyed collecting postage stamps and postcards. She enjoyed flea markets and community festivals. She also enjoyed playing music.

Surviving are two brothers, Melvin (Janice) Thompson, Logansport, Jerry Dean Thompson, Richmond; several nieces, nephews. great nieces and great nephews.

A brother, Ralph Thompson, preceded in death.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Doug Thomas officiating.

Interment will be in Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
