Becky, so sorry for your loss but what wonderful parents. Many fond memories of your dad and mom. My parents always spoke of your parents with such respect. Your dad was a true gentleman and will be missed but remembered by many.

It's easy to say we're sorry about John's passing, but man, he led a full and enriching life! I met him through church and every Sunday he would stop me and ask how everything was going.
In 1968, John hired me, Mark Porter and John Mattson for summer work at the lumber yard. I continued through college.
Rebecca, you'll have to help me with this, but John and I went to his property in Murfressboro, Tennessee ( i believe).
He was having some surveying done.
I do remember a lot of climbing and long days.
We will sadly miss John and Lois.

Please know- This man was a rare and unique individual who cared about his home, his state and his country. They do NOT make 'em like that anymore!! He will be missed!! So sorry.

It was my privilege to get to know John through Kiwanis. I had the opportunity to put flags out with John. His energy truly amazed me. His kindness, spirit and sense of humor will be missed!
