Sincere condolences on Mr. Firmani's passing. Had the chance to talk with him at my mother's funeral (adeline cappoli baker) in November 2014 and he was quick to remind me of my little league playing days and as a catcher...every once in a while I would miss a pitch and it would hit him while he was umping. He never forgot. He was the man who found my father (elmer baker) after he suffered a stroke at Rockwell. RIP. A good man

Anita and Joann and family. Your Dad was truly a wonderful man. So kind and soft spoken. He always greeted each and everyone of us when he came in the bank. He was a favorite with all of us and it was truly a joy to wait on him. Always so kind and friendly and upbeat. I will miss him. My heart goes out to you all. I'm sure it leaves a big void in your heart. God bless and my deepest sympathy to all of you.

To Anita and JoAnn: I have so many memories of growing up on Bringhurst St. across the street from where you lived. I always thought your dad was one of the nicest and soft spoken men i knew. When my mother died, Laurie came and shared some heart warming and kind words with me. I hope the great memories that you have of Laurie will help you during this emotional period of time. The times we had in the old neighborhood were great, and when JoAnn married Mike I thought that was great also, as Mike and his brother John were neighborhood kids too. Again, may you be blessed during this time that you celebrate Laurie's life.

Dear Anita and JoAnn, I know you will be comforted by the memories you have of your dad, and your mom, too, and the sharing of friends in these next days and weeks. It's hard to navigate these passages. Please know you are being thought of.

Lawry was truly a inspiration to those who knew him. I remember him as wise, with a kind and gentle manner. He offered advise over 50 years ago that I have leaned on all my life.
If all of us lived our life as Lawrence Firmani lead his, what a wonderful world it would be.
Special condolences to Mike and Jo ann Zabawa Mary Antonelli

I worked with Mr. Firmani at Salin Bank many years ago. He was one of the kindest gentlemen I have had the pleasure to know. Loved his sweet smile and his bright Hello. May all of your many memories help you through this time.

Anita and Jo Ann, we are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember him as the nicest kindest man we knew. Be thankful for your dad, remember all the good times and find peace in knowing that he was an exceptional man. I so much remember his coaching when I played for the Pancini White Sox and am so grateful to have had that experience.
