Rachel C. "Ciara" Howell

Rachel C. “Ciara” Howell, age 18, Logansport, passed away at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at her residence.

Born July 7, 1997, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Timothy and Melissa Gray Howell.

Surviving are her parents, Melissa Howell and Timothy (Cheryl) Howell; son, Koba Howell, sister, Brittany Howell, step-brothers, Zach Weatherwax and Connor Corcoran.

Also surviving are a maternal grandmother, Mary Kaye Gray, paternal grandparents, Helen and Jack Howell, step grandmother, Carol Corcoran; aunts and uncles, Heather and Brent Whaley, Margie and Andrew Howell, Kimberly Howell and Wendy Kauffman; several cousins and one nephew.

Ciara was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Gray; paternal great grandmother, Ginny Howell; and aunt, Michelle Monroe.

The funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6th, at Life Gate Church, with Pastor Andy Weil officiating.

Friends may visit the family at the church from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Friends are also requested to write a memory or expression of condolence and bring it to the church during visitation. Memory notes will also be available at the church.
