I went through school with Charlie from second grade to high school, except for three years I spent in England with my Air Force dad. Charlie could be a prickly character to deal with, but I called him my friend. I saw him on and off after high school, but I had not heard from him in over 20 years when I heard the news of his sad passing. I went to his service and met his sister's family, but I forgot to sign the book. I hope Charlie doesn't sue me.

Charlie was a friend from 1st grade thru 12th. I will never forget the time Mr Murphy (6th grade) taught us "how to see stars through a coat sleeve" using Charlie as his model. RIP Charlie Bowyer. You will be missed by those who care.

A few of us were remembering Charlie at our high school reunion and wondering if he would attend. We were disappointed when he didn't.
I remember him from grade school. He loved to talk about his adventures at
Pipe Creek Falls and catching crawdads. He was a sweet kid.

Charley was a classmate from 1st grade all the way through graduation in 1966 at Lewis Cass High School. I mostly remember him as a bright, funny and gregarious kid in elementary school. In later years, I would only run into him occasionally at places like the Post Office or the convenience store in Walton. He had looked forward, he told me early this past spring, to the 50th Reunion of our class on August 5th, 2016.
