Condolences to the Vitello family. I have many fond memories of Mike at Tucker Area Vocational Technical Center. He was a dedicated educator and proponent of vocational education. He worked endless hours in both day and night school. I was hired in the Business Education Department the first year the new facility was built on Pennsylvania Avenue. It was a pleasure to teach in a state of the art facility under Mr. Vitello's leadership.

Mike was one of the greatest men that was ever employed @ Marion Community Schools. Always very fair & you always knew where you stood with him. Especially if you were sent to his office because of a disciplinary reason. Definitely one of the Greatest Men GOD ever put on planet earth.

Mike and all us neighborhood kids played together. I lived in the first house West of Mike's home. I was 2 years older than Mike Went to St. Joseph, Riley JHS, Logan HS. Never a bad moment, always there, just a plain OK guy. After WW II I returned to LHS along with mike, was a senior at LHS. I had a Cushman motor scooter. Every school day, Mike seated behind me, we'd go pick up Tom Henry, the three of us rode school. We even made it up the hill in front of the Post Office. Sorry to say that graduating from LHS was our last time together. Tom passed some years. I can still remember the fun we had on that Cushman. See ya soon Mike, Nini Ps.23!!!

Dear Beverly and Family.
I considered Mike a very special friend and advisor when we both served in our respective positions in the Marion Community Schools. Michael was a very dedicated and hard working professional for the school system and any endeavor that he undertook. He was a fighter for the staff and students that he served. Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
