I realize I am a lot late, however I wanted to send my condolences. My dad, Cy and Ben were Army buddies. I have fond memories from my childhood of spending time with Ben and Una Mae. Not sure what made me think of Ben today, but I did. I am hoping the family is at peace, with his passing.
Warmest Regards,
Lisa Carito

I am saddened to learn of Uncle Ben's passing. I know now he passed in August and this is January. I had received Christmas cards every year and realized I did not receive a card this year. I decided to search the internet for Uncle Ben and unfortunately, discovered he had passed. Not only that, noted in his obituary that Jo Ann has passed away. Both of their passing is a sad finding for me.

Uncle Ben and Aunt Una were my absolute favorite Aunt and Uncle. I always looked forward to seeing them though it wasn't often enough. I actually studied Latin in high school and college because I went to mass with Uncle Benny one time and had absolutely NO CLUE what was being said. Of course, by the time I took the language, mass was being said in the common vernacular! I also took Italian in college and on one or two occasions was able to at least understand what Uncle Ben was saying. I loved this man tremendously, though I'm sure he was not aware. He had a profound influence on me in my language studies.

It was so wonderful having Uncle Ben fold Dad's flag at Dad's funeral back in 2003. Unfortunately, keeping in touch with relatives is hard despite all of the electronic methods.

To my cousin, Bill, I'm sorry for the loss of your Dad and also for the loss of your sister. I only wish I had known about their passing before now. I honestly would have made every effort to come to Uncle Ben's service had I known about it.

I think you will have access to my e-mail from this posting. Feel free to contact me.

Love to all of the Rozzi Family, "Barbie"

Mr. Rozzi has been one of the hardest working individuals in Logansport, devoting his life to others for decades. His Warner's Greenhouse has been a principal source of flowers and remembrances for the city and surrounding community for decades. My family and I have benefited for decades from Mr. Rozzi's creations. We will sincerely miss Mr. Rozzi and his always readiness to help.

Rozzi families,
We extend and deepest sympathy to each and everyone. Ben was a special person in our community. My folks were long time friends with Ben, (Lee and Marjorie Morris) and we followed their lead in going to him for our flower business. He always knew what we needed and we were always pleased. When my dad wanted to get mom flowers for their anniversary, he'd go to Ben with an empty vase in hand and say, "Ben I need more flowers for my wife, can you fix me up?" and he did. A wonderful business man who knew how to take care of his customers. He will be greatly missed as a fixture at the greenhouse. He's left it in good hands to carry on this tradition. We think of all of his family as you celebrate his life.

I don't know where to begin with a love and friendship that spans 45 years. So many great memories of fun times together. FTD conventions would not be complete without Ben and Una having the Region 5 hospitality suite. Staying at the Dawn cottages at Indiana Beach having pig roasts! Ben, as an FTD Director always speaking at conventions fighting for what was "the right thing to do" for his members. Being at his flower shop every moment he could so he could be surrounded by all the people and the business he loved. My tears flow down my face as I write this...tears of joy that we knew you..tears of sadness that you have left us for now..rest in peace dear friend..

Surely the Angels have come to greet you Uncle Ben and brought you safely home to your wonderful wife! So many wonderful memories of you both from our visits to Logansport, dinners in the Sky Room at Indiana Beach and the great times at FTD conventions all over, especially Hawaii. Feeling very blessed to have had you and Aunt Una in my life. As Dr Seuss said, I won't cry that's it's over, I will smile that it happened. Rest in the Lords peace.....
